Commencing January 2017 and thanks to Telethon, the Autism West Holiday Makers Program is an excellent opportunity for participants to learn new life skills while immersing themselves in holiday activities.
As children with autism require extra time and resources, siblings often have less bonding time with parents, the program is also a valuable form of respite for siblings and parents.
“We were so appreciative of your holiday program as it was a wonderful opportunity for [our daughter] to socialise and experience fun and stimulating activities in a safe and supportive environment. It also gave us a rare opportunity for respite as school holidays are a stressful time for [our daughter] and the family.”
Enrolments for the Autism West Holiday Makers Program close 2 December 2016.
