We want to give you an amazing experience at an innovative forward-thinking community organisation.
Small not for profit organisations rely on their priceless volunteers, and Spectrum Space is no different. Through our social programs and community events, we break down social barriers and help create a world where autism is just part of our community’s rich fabric and we couldn’t do this without you.
If you’re interested in volunteering your time with us, or to do an internship or work placement, we’d love to hear from you. You are our best gift!
At Spectrum Space, we have volunteering opportunities in many different areas. If you are interesting in volunteering for our events, social programs, maybe you have a skill you’d like to offer, or if you’re just interested in lending a hand, we’d love to explore how you can get involved. We are always on the look-out for volunteers!
“My placement at Spectrum Space was a great learning journey. I was really fortunate to work with a team of passionate people who fully embrace the vision of a society where neurodiversity is celebrated.”
Tom, Masters of Social Work student at University of Western Australia
For students studying occupational therapy, psychology, education or speech pathology, and Certificate III or Certificate IV in Disability, this is a great opportunity to get some hands on experience working with young people with autism.
In addition, Spectrum Space offers student placements and internships to those studying event management, marketing, social work, youth work, and more.
