In 2017, we look at the ‘The Big Picture’, focusing on life beyond childhood, as people on the autism spectrum move into adulthood, with a focus on social skills and relationships, independence, engagement, well being, and employment.
Who Is It For?
We’re connecting and empowering people on the spectrum by showcasing inspirational speakers, people, organisations and thought leaders doing amazing work within the community. Our annual symposium is for people on the autism spectrum and their families and carers, as well as educators, researchers and health professionals.
The Format
Taking place across one and a half days, the 2017 Autism West Symposium will include presentations, break-out sessions, a fireside chat, and more. We will also be featuring employers and educational professionals championing the education and employment of those with ASD.
